What owners report

“Abs, traction control , brake, a yellow exclammation point, red brake light all come on, as warning lights on the dash board, and the breaks start to feel spongey and not work as well.”

An owner's complaint to NHTSA about the brakes, Sep 2024

“Engine started misfiring recently at engine cold start and from hybrid transition to engine startup. Engine light came on with reports codes P0302 and P0304. Additionally, another error code P0607 also was detected. Had a certified mechanic assess the car and replaced the four coils for the CT200h. No change in issue.”

Owner complaints are unverified reports to NHTSA, counted as filed: older years have had longer to collect them and sales aren't adjusted for, so see Which year to buy for a fair comparison. Most-reported problem: the component named in the most complaints that year. Sources: EPA, NHTSA, Apple.
